Chapter 1

Dear Dairy

Today as the wind blew I felt different. A good different like a big change was coming my way. Maybe I will finally be able to lose the weight! I really want to lose it and I haven't really tried in the past. That changes this year. I hope so! Maybe then Erick will go out with me on a real date instead of our weekly night out! I can hope right?  Well I have to go get ready! Even if we aren't due to leave for a few more hours. I want a bath. Goodbye!

Lenora

Lenora started the water for her bath. She poured her all-time favorite bath soap in and watched it bubble. She turned her iPod on and sank deep into the tub. With a sigh Lenora closed her eyes and let herself relax.  She had been soaking for about 5 minutes when a very unwelcome voice was heard. 

"Whatcha doing there?" came a high pitched female voice.

"Ugh what do you want Ashli?" Lenora sighed softly. 

"Oh nothing...just stopping by." Ashli walked into view. Ashli wasn't a real person per say but was rather Lenora’s internal voice and no she wasn't her conscience. Ashli was a bully, no not bully like on the playground bully, she was Lenora’s own personal nightmare.

Lenora opened her eyes hoping that would end it before things got much worse. 

"Cause I care ya know?" Ashli sneered even though Le couldn't see her. 

"Just go away Ash. I don't wanna talk right now." 

There was a harsh chuckle. "Why not? Is it because you are feeling good about yourself right now? Don't wanna see how a sexy woman looks?" 

"Ashli I'm warning you. Just leave. Please." Lenora pleaded with the voice in her head.

There was another chuckle. "Oh I don't think so. " Ashli started to say. 

She was cut off by a knock on the bathroom door. 

"Sissy? Is you okay?" Brianna knocked. 

"Come on in Bri-bri! It's clear." Lenora said making Ashli scowl and leave. 

The little girl looked in and then stepped in and walked over to the tub. "Is you okay sissy?" she asked softly. 

"Of course! I'm always okay sweetie." Lenora said smiling. 

Brianna smiled back and sat down next to the tub. "Has Ashli been back? You look upset." 

Lenora frowned slightly. "I can't keep anything from you can I?" she asked.

"Nope!" Brianna said with a smile on her face.

Lenora sighed. "Yes Ashli was back. Nothing bad happened though."

Brianna's brow furrowed. "I don't like Ashli. She's mean to you."

Lenora reached out and petted her sisters head getting her hair wet. "I don't like Ashli either sweetie. Ashli is a very lonely girl me thinks." 

Brianna smiled and pulled back shaking water off and giggled. "I think so too!"

The two girls were silent for a moment before Brianna broke the silence. 

"I love you sissy." She said softly. 

"As I love you little one." Lenora said just as soft. "Now get out so I can finish my bath." 

Brianna smiled and jumped up then bounded out shutting the door behind herself. Putting Ashli out of her mind Lenora rose from the tub and pulled the drain. She stepped out and  went to the sink and washed her hair. 

 Hey there journal,

It's Erick like always.  Haha. Soooo...tonight is the night. I'm gonna tell Lenora that I love her....I wonder what she will say... I'll tell her after the movie...when I drop her off at home. I'll walk her to the door and pull her close and whisper those three words to her. I just hope she returns the feeling. If she doesn't I'm gonna cry dude. Alright I'm done being a sap. I'm off to the shower. I just got done with my work out and need to get ready for tonight.

Erick

Erick closed this journal and walked to the bathroom and  started the water for his shower. After taking off his shirt he stuck his hand in the water he smiled and stripped off the rest of his clothes. Stepping in to the water he felt his muscles immediately relax.

"Ah yeah that is perfect." he sighed.

Pouring the shampoo in to his hand and started to rub it in to his thick brown hair. Rinsing the shampoo out he grabbed his conditioner and rubbed it in, knowing that Lenora would love how it smelled. Then grabbing his body wash and his brand name scrub and lathered up. As he rinsed off his hard muscled body he smiled. Lightly tracing his just showing six pack that he worked so hard on.

"I can't wait to see Lenora and show her the improvement on it." He smiled as he dried off.

Erick pulled on a witty tee shirt and black shorts, as well as black ankle socks and his new shoes.

"Lenora here I come baby." Erick said as he walked out of his room and grabbed his car keys and was on the way to pick up Lenora for their weekly night out.

*Sigh* "What should I wear tonight?" she asked herself.

Deciding on a simple tee and short set as well as her peace socks and her good shoes. After dressing she sat down at her vanity and started putting on her makeup. Soft pink eye shadow and light blush, she reached for her dark red lipstick. After applying that she grabbed her chocolate perfume. That perfume and her strawberry body wash and hair products she ended up smelling like a chocolate covered strawberry knowing that it drove Erick nuts.

"Momma I am leaving now. Love you hug daddy for me." She yelled as she grabbed her purse.

"Ok be back by 11." her mom called after her.

As Lenora stepped outside Erick pulled up.

"Hey look who has good timing." Erick said as Lenora got in to the car with him.

"The bestest best friend ever." Lenora said back

"Well yes but I was talking about you, Honey."

Lenora smiled at her best friend and wondered how such an amazing man like Erick was friends with her, the fat chick.

"He is only doing it because his friends dared him to, Sweetie," said Ashli popping up again for only moments

Right about that time Erick pulled into the movie theater. They both climbed out and walked in.

"Hi can I get two tickets to see hammer three please." Erick said sweetly to the lady behind the ticket counter.

"Yeah here ya go." she said snottily to him.

Erick handed her the cash and took his change and then went and opened the door for Lenora. Now Erick is a very tall six foot one, six foot two guy. He weighs in at maybe 210 very muscular. Lenora is a short five foot five maybe five foot six in a half on a really good day. Weighing in at 273 it is no shock that people fall quiet when the two of them walk in to a room. She looks so short standing next to him and well fatter.

"See they are all staring at you. You and your fat ass," Ashli said in a mean sneer to Lenora.

"You know why right? Because you are the fattest biggest slob they have ever seen. Just like Erick is only friends with you because he was dared to by his friends. He doesn't even like you," Ashli sneered venom in her voice.

"Le you ok?" Erick asked in a worried voice.

"Yeah I am ok." Lenora said with a slightly shaky voice.

"You sure? You don’t  look ok." Erick asked concern written all over his face.

"See even he thinks you look bad you ugly fat pig."

"No that is not what he meant." Lenora argued back to the voice in her head.

As all this went on Erick had moved into line for the snacks and drinks.

"Erick I need the ladies room you know what I want right?"

"Yes ma’am I do." Erick smiled at her.

As Le walked away Erick sighed. He thought softly to himself. "Brain...I worry about her so much..."

Much to his shock his brain replied. "Me too, Dude. Me too."

Lenora walked in to the bathroom and into a stall.

Sitting down with her pants still up. Leaning against a wall she closed her eyes.

"Ugh go away Ashli. I really don't want to see your perfect figure right now,” Lenora growled in her head

"Oh Hun you always want to see my fig you know that." Ashli cooed.

"You know I lost a size. I am now a size -2 aren't you proud of me." Ashli said with pride.

Lenora sighed.

"Want to know how I do it? I starve myself. Yep I am anorexic. So what size are you? Oh yeah you don't wear woman’s you wear men’s. So a size XL right?"

"Shut up Ashli."

"Awwwww poor little Lenora. She is cranky." Ashli mocked.

Lenora got up from the bathroom floor and slammed the stall door open and stormed out trying to block Ashli's laughter from her head.

"Hi one large popcorn, two dill pickles, a thing of whoppers and caramel bites, and two large Dr. Peppers please." Erick said.

As Erick waited on his order he saw Lenora come out of the bathroom looking well pale.

"Le you ok?" Erick asked

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Lenora said with what she hoped was a reassuring smile.

Erick was going to say something back but the lady behind the snack counter handed Erick the snacks. As Erick paid Ashli resurfaced.

"Eww! Look at all that food all that gross yucky stuff. I don't even know I that it can be called food."

"Ashli go away." Lenora snared.

"Ohhhhhhhh a bit snarly aren't we?" Ashli said with a bit of a giggle.

"Rrrrrrrrrrr." Lenora growled. "Leave me alone NOW!!!!!"

"Fine! Hm!" said Ashli as she stomped off

"Le you ready? I got the popcorn cheesed up, shall we go?"

"Yeah let's go."

Hammer Three was meant to be the scariest movie of the year.  Lenora and Erick found themselves trying to not bust a gut from trying not to laugh out loud from all the poor acting and bad blood splatters. 2 hours and 30 minutes later the movie let out.

"Want a drink refill Le?"

"Nah I'm good."

After Erick got his drink refill the two of them walked back to his car and got in.

"Oh my God that was then worst horror movie EVER!!!" Lenora giggled.

"I know." Erick laughed.

"Want to go to dinner? It's only 9:30." Erick asked while sighing.

"Yeah. Sounds good driver." Lenora said with a teasing tone at the word driver. Erick shook his head.

"So what do ya want to eat?" Erick asked.

"Oh I don't care. Whatever you want." Lenora said.

"Uhhhh more food, Girl. I am very disappointed in you," Ashli said popping up yet again.
 "I now know why you have weight problems, Hun."

After dinner and the drive back to Lenora’s house the two of them still had a half hour. After sitting on Lenora’s swing for what felt like 25 minutes just making small talk.  Erick finally got up the courage to try to tell Lenora what he had wanted to say all night long.

"Le, I have something very important to tell you." Erick said.

"Yeah what is up?" Lenora said with a sinking feeling in her stomach. Ashli's words that Erick was friends with because his friends dared him to be came floating back to her.

"Le I... I..." Erick started to say.

"Oh shoot!" Lenora said looking at her watch. "I got to go like now! Talk to you tomorrow," she jumped up gave Erick a hug pulled her key out of her purse and unlocked her door and smiled at Erick and then went inside. Erick sighed and said what he had been trying to say.

"Lenora I love you." Erick said softly his heart dropping as the door shut and locked.
